I like Ron DeSantis. I like Glenn Youngkin. I have hope for the future of Republican leadership. And there is a noteworthy group of young folks coming up in legislative and administrative positions, whereas the Dems appear to be mostly over 70 and senescent. AND they are defending two out of the three senate seats up in 2024.
But I have to say... if you could show me a clear delineation between candidates the democrats HATE AND FEAR, and those they don't, I'm looking at the first list for my first choices.
Who do they hate and fear? Who are they going ALL OUT to stop... and have been for years? Who are they willing to destroy their OWN reputations in process of derailing? Who will they plainly use the tools of the state as partisan wrecking balls in order to prevent his or her electoral success? Whose failure is so important as to bring all the masks off and demonstrate Stalinist thought and tactics to ensure it?
If I had to base my choice on one factor, it would be the self-destructive, frantic, lawless effort to destroy one person... and better still, if that effort had continued for years and that person was yet undestroyed and still posed a risk of WINNING. Even if I didn't think that person would win, THEY DO, or else they would not be responding to him like ants respond when you shove a stick into their anthill.
If they hate a candidate that much, he is worth CONSIDERING. Because there must be a REASON.
In my view, they are all corrupt as sin itself, and he is the one guy they fear in terms of exposing that corruption and stopping the flow of taxpayer money to where it should not flow.
Because the superficial explanations of their hatred do not pass the sniff test, I must infer that there are "real reasons" they won't explain. Common sense and 60+ years on this planet tell me they have something to protect that they do not wish to explain to you, and are manufacturing outrage hoping you will absorb it by osmosis... so they don't have to tell you what's really going on.
If they hate one guy THIS much, there must be something intrinsically anti-corruption about him, something they desperately fear.
And what the swamp critters fear, I welcome.
When they stop coming after him, I will believe the smart money is on him losing the primary. Until then, he is still to be feared and undermined, as they see it. And if their enterprise, saturated with corruption as it is, hangs on such a slender thread as to be disrupted by ONE GUY? Then there is HOPE.
And I'm on that guy's side.
I'm not recommending that you blindly love the one they hate. Just make a note of it, and remember there must be a REASON they hate him so much, a reason it is so personal with them.
Thank you for this.... good advice I'm sure!
