Red Rover, don't bother coming over
Karl Rove is more infuriating than ever. He’s come out with a point in a recent interview, saying Biden’s “reached his deplorable moment”, at which he is willing to say or do anything to achieve his aims.
Rove, trying to rejoin the Republican Party? Or the Republican Party trying to ingratiate itself to the MAGA mob? Either way, no trust remains.
Note to Karl — Biden has wanted to be president for forty years. He was ALWAYS willing to do and say ANYTHING to achieve that. Nothing about what Biden is doing here is NEW, and Rove would have, SHOULD have always known this.
It's as if he has decided to try to recover his reputation by finally, carefully, CRITICIZING the leader of the Democrats, and by distant extension the Democrat agenda and leadership...
It is too late, far too late, to let Rove back on the Republican train. He's done nothing but derail us for decades. Remember when he advised Dubya to "remain above the fray, do not respond to the Democrat criticism" in 2006? He gave us Pelosi, a Dem majority in congress, and a ruined Republican president for his final two years. And he has been deep in the inside circle of anti Trump republicans from the beginning, hampering what turned out to be a highly desirable agenda, slowing Trump for years. Think of everything Trump did that you are pleased with, and imagine him having done TWICE as much, if only not dragged down by the anti Trump republicans who waited and stuck their moistened fingers in the wind. They dreamed of feeling the cool breeze that took Trump down without their having to do anything overt. They dreamed of the Democrats taking down Trump FOR them, and consequently did NOT render the normal, or any, amount of assistance to the president of their own party.
Rove and Bush are brothers in arms. And Bush, after waiting for eight long years of silence, finally criticized a successor-- but it wasn't Obama. Bush is anti TRUMP. So is Rove.
Karl Rove’s newfound criticism of Biden is too little, too late, and still wrong. Biden hasn't REACHED anything, and Rove should have been criticizing him from the beginning, in EVERYTHING.
Lock the door to Rove. He doesn't like you. Or me.
